Steak au Poivre Salad

Ingredients:

1 lb. steak of your choice
coarsely ground peppercorns
Variety of salad greens
Roquefort cheese
Red onion sliced
Cherry tomatoes
Balsamic vinaigrette

Method:

7Sprinkle peppercorns heavily over one side of the raw beef and pound in . Turn over meat and repeat with more peppercorns.
Grill steak or cook in your favorite method.
Slice steak thinly.
Make a bed of greens, place tomatoes on greens. Place steak slices over greens and top with cheese.
Sprinkle vinaigrette over salad and serve.
A crusty French bread would go nicely with this along with a hearty burgundy.
