4 medium apples
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons margarine
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 360 degrees.  Wash & core apples. Cut about 1/2 inch peeling
from stem end of apples.  Place in a baking dish, stem end down.  Add enough water to cover the bottom of the baking dish.  Combine margarine, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, & vanilla. Divide mixture equally into the apples. Bake until apples are tender.
