1 pound lean ground beef
      1/2 pound ground pork
      2/3 cup milk
      1 slice soft bread, torn into small pieces
      1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
      1/4 cup finely-chopped onion
      1 egg, slightly beaten
      1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
      1 teaspoon salt
      1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
      1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
      1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
      1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
      1/8 teaspoon pepper
      CRISCO Oil for frying
      1/4 cup water
Combine ground beef, ground pork, milk, bread, cracker crumbs, onion, egg, brown sugar, salt, allspice, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and pepper in medium
mixing bowl. Mix well. Shape into 1/4-inch balls.
      Preheat oven to 300?F. Heat about 2 tablespoons Crisco Oil in medium skillet. Brown a few meatballs at a time over medium-high heat, adding more Crisco Oil as needed. Place browned meatballs in 12 x 8-inch baking dish. Add water. Cover dish with aluminum foil. Bake at 300?F, 45 to 55 minutes, or until
firm.
