2 pounds lean ground beef
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons minced dried onion
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup ketchup
Step 1 - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 - In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, the oats, the tomato sauce, the eggs, the dried onion, the garlic, the salt, and the black pepper until well-combined.
Step 3 - Transfer the meat mixture into a 9x5–inch loaf pan.
Step 4 - Bake the loaf until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F, about 1 hour.
Step 5 - Transfer the pan from the oven and spread the ketchup over the top.
Step 6 - Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes.
Step 7 - Serve.
