1 1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafers (about 45 wafers), graham cracker crumbs, or cornflake crumbs
2/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
2/3 cup powdered sugar plus additional powdered sugar for garnish
1/2 cup canned chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Stir together the crushed vanilla wafers, coconut, and 2/3 cup powdered sugar in
a bowl. Stir in the syrup and vanilla until well blended. Shape the dough into 1-inch
balls and roll them in additional powdered sugar. Store tightly covered in a cool, dry place.
