1 spiral-sliced fully cooked bone-in ham (8 to 10 pounds)
1 cup water
3/4 cup honey, divided
GLAZE:
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1. Place ham and water in a 7-qt. slow cooker. Brush ham with 1/2 cup honey. Cook, covered, on low until a thermometer reads 140°, 4 to 5 hours.
2. Preheat broiler. Combine glaze ingredients. Transfer ham to a rack in a shallow roasting pan, cut side down. Brush with remaining 1/4 cup honey; sprinkle with glaze mixture, pressing to adhere. Broil 6 to 8 in. from heat until lightly browned and sugar is melted, 3 to 5 minutes, rotating as needed. Cover with foil; let stand until glaze hardens, about 30 minutes.
