1 (32-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
2 (8-ounce) blocks cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups Mexican-blend cheese, shredded, divided
6 green onions, sliced, divided
6 jalapeƱos, seeds and veins removed, diced
1 1/2 cups bacon, cooked and crumbled, divided
1 rotisserie chicken, diced into chunks
Step 1 - Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 - Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 - Evenly add the tater tots into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Step 4 - Bake the tater tots, about 15 minutes.
Step 5 - While the tater tots are cooking, in a medium bowl, add the cream cheese and the sour cream and stir to combine.
Step 6 - Add the garlic salt, the pepper, 1/2 of the cheese, 1/2 of the green onions, the jalapeƱos, and 1/2 of the crumbled bacon to the cream cheese mixture and stir until it is well-combined.
Step 7 - Transfer the baking dish to a wire rack and evenly sprinkle the tater tots with the chicken pieces.
Step 8 - Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the chicken layer, then evenly sprinkle with the remaining bacon crumbles and the remaining shredded cheese.
Step 9 - Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake the chicken mixture until the cream cheese mixture is heated through and the cheese is melted, about 20 minutes.
Step 10 - Transfer the baking dish to a wire rack and let it cool, about 5 minutes.
Step 11 - Garnish with the remaining green onions and serve.
