Potato and Ham Soup

Ingredients:

1          32 oz. carton chicken broth
1          30 oz. shredded hash browns   thawed
1          small onion   finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon   pepper
4 oz. cream cheese    softened
1 cup  cubed ham
1          5 oz. can evaporated milk

Method:

In crock pot combine broth, potatoes and onion.   Cook on low 8 hours.
Whisk in cream cheese until melted.   Stir in ham and milk.    Cook covered for 20 minutes longer
